I will give you a couple of examples:1) Doom. Look at the last 2 flops (my opinion). Think what could have been ( and still could be ) - if they would have taken Doom 2 - with today's technology - built a mega winner. But - oh no. They can't do that - they have to completely change everything - make it evil and dark. Millions of $$$ Lost in the process - and still today $$$ lost. I would still be playing! What a waste!2) Final Fantasy. Why couldn't they have taken version 7 (the best version every done) - and stayed with the main theme. It was their bread and butter! Look at it today - dead on arrival.Why companies love to play in the dark - think they know more than their clients - when all they have to do is look at what their clients love to do! Play Games. Had Final Fantasy stayed with it's roots in version 7 - I wouldn't be here complaining. Another waste!Companies that produce these games - just don't get it!WHY?????

I see this one from the illiterate 17 year olds all the time in here too.Let's look at Posada - a fine catcher. Not the best defensive or offensive catcher, but definitely a good player. Hall of Famer? Not in this universe. Offensively, he hit 100 RBIs once in his career and this is on a team with big bombers. He hit 30 home runs once which is great but if we're talking about a HOFer, you'd need something more. His career average is .275 which is nice and he hit over .300 once in his career which is definitely a Hall of Good player. He never won a Gold glove. He made 6 all star games and never won an MVP. He's the perfect example of someone benefiting from playing in NY because again, if he put up those stats in Kansas City, most people would have forgotten about him. In baseball reference, he's comparible to Benito Santiago, Bill Freehan, Lance Parrish and Javy Lopez, none of who will ever be in the Hall and Bill Freehan is the greatest catcher to never make the hall. He's also comparable to Bill Dickey in some things but Dickey is a .313 career hitter who was in 12 all star games.In all those post seasons he participated in because he was on great teams, he hit .241 in 470 PA, which is awful, especially when it's the post season and we're talking about a guy some people here claim should be in the Hall of Fame.Keep in mind it's very hard to get into the Hall and for those of you who use the ridiculous "He's a Yankee" excuse, talk to Don mattingly (and Thuman Munson for that matter). I wear invisalign retainers, that make my teeth look plastic, and they are gross!!Then if I take them off.. I have a missing tooth. In the front of my mouth, not my 2 front teeth, but the one next to it. So I look like I got punched and lost a tooth, or I look like a baby!!! Ugh!! Please help! I am a year 10 student studying child development, for a piece of my case study I have to make a children’s toy, this toy has to be designed for a toddler not a baby...for example my friend made a touchy, feely book.. Why has my life been so miserable? What now for me?
Hey guys,I just caught a mole in our kitchen that was trying to eat out cat food. I put it in a tank thats about five inches tall, seven wide, and nine-ten long that I used to keep a fish in. I already own a guinea pig so I had pine bedding and rodent food that I put inside as well as a pet igloo from when I had a hamster. (I keep all of my old pet supplies just in case)Now my question is, what should I do with it now? I obviously dont want to keep it but I dont want to hurt it either.I live in northern New Hersey of the US so because of a recent snowstorm, there are about four inches of snow outside. Im thinking if I let him out there he will freeze overnight.Can anyone help? Please?Since I live in a very small town, the animal control is currently closed (closes at 6) because it's a Friday. Also I know they eat worms but obviously I don't keep them on hand. My family doesn't own a car so there's no way for me to bring him anywhere. I feel so bad for the little guy.

I got the game yesterday, and it was working fine, until after about 20-30 min, the game freezes, flashes to my desktop, then back to the game, repeats that three or four times, then freezes, and goes to the "blue screen of death". The main girl shoots an arrow at her teacher landing in her hand who turns out to be evil and is frozen in a well but manages to trick the girl into letting her out which she then tries to kill the girl. The boy ends up dying and his soul lives on in a tree the whispers her name when the wind blows... she smashs a crystal thing that loaned its power to who evere touched it...I know it's not in order of events or anything...

I have this new roommate in college,(no joke, she weights 300 pounds at 5'2"), and she's eating all my food and my other two roommates food. I have my own bar fridge in my room (we each have our own rooms with a common kitchen and living room with one another). But I can't keep frozen food in there (like my frozen fruit cubes I make myself and frozen veggies). Last night, I cooked four chicken breasts and made pasta and sauce for my boyfriend my best friend and myself to have tomorrow. I put notes on the containers saying, "DO NOT EAT! MANDY'S SUPPER!" Anyway, I come out today, and there's one serving of pasta left, a chicken breast, and no sauce. There's a chicken breasts in the garbage, and the other two nowhere to be found. My one roommate is at clinical (and she hates chicken) and the other one went home for the weekend. so I KNOW it was this girl who eats everything. I've already told her not to eat my food, I just had to put my supper in the common fridge because there's no room in my fridge. She's costing me money I don't have! I now have to remake supper, and get groceries again. What should I do?! She's not listening to us when we tell her not to eat our food, and we can't put all our food in our rooms because there's no space, and we have our labeled and in our own cupboards. What can we tell her?She goes to the grocery store all the time, she just eats our stuff because it's there. I would NEVER eat her food. She buys the saltiest, greasiest, most gross food ever, like powdered potatoes (but she eats the powder...?? Gross...she doesn't even make them!) and she buys chips and twinkies, and "makes" dinner (ie, two hungry man dinners and a large poutine from the caf). Yucky food to eat. BAD food, BAAAAD food!!We just have to put up with her for three more weeks, and then she's out! RA told us it's her third room in three months! So she's stuck here until the end of the year... :(

I just got my new Android phone two weeks ago and when I streamed video it worked great, no problems. A couple days ago it started running really slow, playing the first three seconds of the video then stopping. it would take a couple more minutes to buffer then start up again, only to freeze another few minutes later. In short, it takes about 10 minutes to play a four or five minute video. I tried clearing the cache, history, all that. I closed out windows that were running in the background. No other apps were running. Can anyone help?


Slow buffering on my Android?
I bought the device which connects through my computers USB port, in order to connect the surveillance cameras I have in my small store to my computer. I'm having trouble recording all four cameras at the same time not to mention that I can even display them all at the same time (The best I could do was to have the program cycle through the cameras and the cameras that were not on at the moment just froze until the program cycled back to it).Any ideas?Thanks

Adaptation: The pineapples is a tropical or near-tropical plant, but will usually tolerate brief exposures to 28° F. Prolonged cold above freezing retards growth, delays maturity and causes the fruit to be more acid. Pineapples are drought-tolerant and will produce fruit under yearly precipitation rates ranging from 25 - 150 in., depending on cultivar and location and degree of atmospheric humidity. They are successfully grown in southern Florida and coastal areas of southern California. The small plant adapts well to container and greenhouse culture and makes an interesting potted plant. DESCRIPTIONGrowth Habit: The pineapple plant is a herbaceous perennial, 2-1/2 to 5 ft. high with a spread of 3 to 4 ft. It is essentially a short, stout stem with a rosette of waxy, straplike leaves. Foliage: The long-pointed leaves are 20 - 72 in. in length, usually needle tipped and generally bearing sharp, upcurved spines on the margins. They may be all green or variously striped with red, yellow or ivory down the middle or near the margins. As the stem continues to grow, it acquires at its apex a compact tuft of stiff, short leaves called the crown or top. Occasionally a plant may bear 2 or more heads instead of the normal one. Flowers: At blooming time, the stem elongates and enlarges near the apex and puts forth an inflorescence of small purple or red flowers. The flowers are pollinated by humming-birds, and these flowers usually develop small, hard seeds. Seeds are generally not found in commercially grown pineapple. Fruit: The oval to cylindrical-shaped, compound fruit develops from many small fruits fused together. It is both juicy and fleshy with the stem serving as the fibrous core. The tough, waxy rind may be dark green, yellow, orange-yellow or reddish when the fruit is ripe. The flesh ranges from nearly white to yellow. In size the fruits are up to 12 in. long and weigh 1 to 10 pounds or more. CULTURELocation: Pineapples should be planted where the temperature remains warmest, such as the south side of a home, or in a sunny portion of the garden. Soil: The best soil for the pineapple is a friable, well-drained sandy loam with a high organic content. The pH should be within a range of 4.5 to 6.5. Soils that are not sufficiently acid can be treated with sulfur to achieve the desired level. The plant cannot stand waterlogging and if there is an impervious subsoil, drainage needs to be improved. Irrigation: The plant is surprisingly drought tolerant, but adequate soil moisture is necessary for good fruit production. Fertilization: Nitrogen is essential to increase fruit size and total yield, which should be added every four months. Spraying with a urea solution is another way to supply nitrogen. Fruit weight has also been increased by the addition of magnesium. Of the minor elements, iron is the most important, particularly in high pH soils. Iron may be supplied by foliar sprays of ferrous sulfate. Harvest: It is difficult to tell when the pineapple is ready to be harvested. Some people judge ripeness and quality by snapping a finger against the side of the fruit. A good, ripe fruit has a dull, solid sound. Immaturity and poor quality are indicated by a hollow thud. The fruit should be stored at 45° F or above, but should be stored for no longer than 4 - 6 weeks.*cries*

Can you point out what this costumer is not noticing in this conversation?
My goldfish recently spawned, and four days ago the fry started hatching. They currently are in a half filled 50qt tub, I got about 30 fish (the other eggs got eaten by the parents).I couldn't get brine shrimp eggs anywhere and as suggested on some websites I substituted with frozen baby brine shrimp. Thing is, I never see the fry actually eat, or maybe I don't recognize it as eating. They seem to have grown tough, the ones that hatched first are about 1cm / 3/8 inch long. Swimming freely. Found none dead yet. Had to cull two with bent spines.Anyway, are they eating? I don't know how fast they starve to death if they don't eat.

The scariest thing happened yesterday.It started when my friend Sarah and I were on our usual Monday/Wednesday morning journey to school, at about 8:25am or so. We noticed this conspicuous looking car behind us, in our lane. Black, sleek, and with tinted windows. I've watched enough movies and TV to know it resembled the kind of car FBI or CIA drives around in.Sarah and I hadn't really said anything about it or thought anything of it, until it switched lanes with us. She got sort of spooked out, and missed our turn into a Starbucks drive-thru. As we approached the u-turn, she said to me "I really hope this guy doesn't turn with us", and sure enough, he followed us to the u-turn, around the u-turn, and down the street where the Starbucks was. We both started panicking, and more than ever, we wanted to be around other bystanders in case anything was about to happen. So we turned into the Starbucks parking lot, where he followed us yet again. We were both shocked. This guy WAS following us. He followed us through lane changes, through a u-turn, down a street, and into a Starbucks parking lot.Sarah was panicking more than I've ever seen her panic before, and I was positive something was about to happen. We got into the Starbucks drive-thru line, and we saw the black car pull into a parking space to the right of us. I was shaking and we were both frozen. A normally-dressed Asian man got out of the driver's side and started WALKING TOWARDS US! He passed right through the line in the drive-thru, right in front of Sarah's car, and continued on to our left, where he was immediately lost out of sight behind a wall, where an outside power box or generator "closet" might be. We were one car away from being in his line of sight if he were just standing by that wall, and I imagined us as sitting ducks, trapped in the long drive-thru line (we hadn't even ordered yet), waiting for him to saunter over to us as we stayed in the line. Meanwhile, more cars got behind us. I told Sarah to get out of the line because we needed to get away. She immediately agreed and turned out of the queue. We exited the lot, and got back onto the street, where we headed straight to school, because if that guy was really following us, then we'd get lost in a crowd of students.I don't know what the hell that guy wanted, or why he was following us. Certain things have happened before; people looking at, or talking to, us in a weird manner. I would always joke that somebody is after Sarah, because this stuff only happens when I'm around her. Although, I've seen a car (like the one that followed us) parked on the street outside the plaza that I walk past on my way to work. Always in the same spot. Always parked there. I thought nothing of it, except that someone might be selling it. Why they would sell such a peculiar car, I have no idea. I've also seen the same type of car randomly around school, mainly noticing it in the teachers' parking lot, which is near BOTH the classes I'm taking. I'm freaking myself out again as I type this. I know that I haven't done anything wrong, at least not to my knowledge. If I've done anything illegal or got mixed up in stuff that deems me followable to authorities, it was a complete accident.We are out of high school. I am 22 and my friend is 20. We go to a community college.I'm a male.
