What is the lifespan of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel?

Stanton

I understand that embrittlement can limit the lifespan of a nuclear pressure vessel. How long does a reactor pressure vessel last?

Rio Verde

It depend upon the number of heating/cooling cycles it undergoes in its life time. That means start ups and shut downs. I hope they last 40 to 50 years.
