Are the Raiders the first team in NFL History to go 6-0 in their division and not make the playoffs?
Some teams I think should go to a northern or Canadian city simply because they are just unappreciated. Teams like:Phoenix CoyotesAtlanta ThrashersNashville PredatorsFlorida PanthersColumbus Blue JacketsOther cities who are close to that point(possibly) Anaheim DucksDallas StarsNew York Islanders(if they keep up what they are doing)Possible cities to move to:Winnipeg MississaugaHamiltonQuebec CityCincinnati Kansas CityIndianapolisHalifaxSeattleMilwaukeeSaskatoon Oakland/San FransiscoSalt Lake CityCleveland Now, please tell me what you think, however don't give me that this is too close to that bullshit, what about Anaheim and Los Angeles, or 2 teams in New York, so please, what do you think?

Hockey cities that suck?
I just started working at walmart and a lot of people come through my line and have price match stuff, I plan on starting to do this because I didn't realize it was so easy. But now I need some ads. I was thinking about buying a paper but if it doesn't have any ads in it then I would just be wasting my money. It would be the Kansas City Star if that makes any difference.I am wanting to buy one today, Wednsday, I know they come out on Sunday but I really need to go grocery shopping.

When do ads come out in the paper, like food ads?

I am starting my OWN valet service, how do I star? How much should I charge for half/full valet service?
Find a seat cushion and get comfortable, this is big one...That's what she said...The start of the 2010-2011 season marked something rather remarkable that hasn't happened in over forty years. In fact, the last time a larger stretch than this present one occurred, it started at the end of the 1942-43 season and lasted for 25 years. What am I talking about? The start of this season marked the 10th year (9th season due to the lockout) since the last time a NHL team has expanded, folded, or relocated in the league, when Minnesota and Columbus entered the league for the start of the 2000-01 season. The Original Six era of hockey lasted for 25 years (as previously mentioned), and ended at the start of the 1967-68 season. In fact, since the expansion era started, the previous high point without any teams relocating, expanding, or folding was 9 years and this was from 1982-83 when Colorado moved to New Jersey, till 1991-1992 when the San Jose Sharks entered the league. NHL Movement from the Original Six onward:1967-1968: Expansion - Minnesota North Stars, California Seals, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues - 12 teams in the NHL1970-71: Expansion - Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks - 14 teams in the NHL1972-73: Expansion - Atlanta Flames, New York Islanders - 16 teams in the NHL1974-75: Expansion - Kansas City Scouts, Washington Capitals - 18 teams in the NHL1976-77: Relocation - California Golden Seals become the Cleveland Barons, Kansas City Scouts become the Colorado Rockies - 18 teams in the NHL1978-79: Folded - Cleveland Barons merge with the Minnesota North Stars - 17 teams in the NHL1979-80: Expansion - Edmonton Oilers, Hartford Whalers, Quebec Nordiques, Winnipeg Jets - 21 teams in the NHL1980-81: Relocation - Atlanta Flames become Calgary Flames - 21 teams in the NHL1982-83: Relocation - Colorado Rockies become New Jersey Devils - 21 teams in the NHL1991-92: Expansion - San Jose Sharks - 22 teams in the NHL1992-93: Expansion - Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning - 24 teams in the NHL1993-94: Expansion/Relocation - Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Florida Panthers, Minnesota North Stars become Dallas Stars - 26 teams in the NHL1995-96: Relocation - Quebec Nordiques become Colorado Avalanche - 26 teams in the NHL1996-97: Witness Protection - Winnipeg Jets become Phoenix Coyotes - 26 teams in the NHL1997-98: Relocation - Hartford Whalers become Carolina Hurricanes - 26 teams in the NHL1998-99: Expansion - Nashville Predators - 27 teams in the NHL1999-2000: Expansion - Atlanta Thrashers - 28 teams in the NHL2000-01: Expansion - Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild - 30 teams in the NHLSo as you can see, since the expansion era started, we are currently in the biggest stretch in time that we have not seen any form of franchise movement. Questions: 1) Is the NHL as strong as it has ever been?2) Judging by the fact that it has been so long since any franchises have moved/folded/expanded, would you say that the NHL is as strong (big) as it can be? 3) What is the main reason for franchise stability in the league?4) How many more years would you give till a NHL had to move or folded, or till a new expansion team entered the league?Have a good day!Jag - After reading it now the first name that popped in my head was Rick Tocchet, but its not him. I would have most likely found the answer after 10 min by going through the list of team captains starting with Anaheim and working my way down to Buffalo. If he was a captain on say the Leafs, I would have been there for a hour...

Is the NHL as strong as it has ever been...?

Just follow suit! ALEastTampa Bay Rays 96-66 Something seems to be lacking in the AL East, and that's theBoston Red Sox 92-70 Yankees. Finishing just above .500, it seems it threw the entireToronto Blue Jays 86-76 division off. The Orioles as well made the division look like a New York Yankees 84-78 joke. Far more interested than the Marlins offseason. To Natural M - Obviously you don't remember the 2003 season when the Athletics and the Angels BOTH had 100+ wins! In 1965, The Twins had 102 Wins, White Sox had 95, Tigers had 90. THAT'S when.

(Playoff and Regular Season) MLB 2011 Predictions?
Phoenix CoyotesAtlanta ThrashersFlorida PanthersDallas StarsNew York IslandersColumbus Blue Jackets*Note: These are all teams with a history of poor attendance.PossibilitiesWinnipegQuebec CityHamiltonMississaugaHalifax Saskatoon Kansas CitySalt Lake CityHoustonOakland/San FransiscoMilwaukee Seattle Baltimore Cleveland Cincinnati*Notes:Winnipeg: May need a bigger arena.Quebec City: Plans for building an arena capable of seating 18,000 have been confirmed. Hamilton: Copps Coliseum would be fine.Mississauga: Need a new arena if they want to make it possible.Halifax: Would also need a new arena.Saskatoon: Now I know they don't have the biggest population, but their is nothing else in Saskatchewan, and they have the Credit Union Centre, but would eventually have to upgradeKansas City: They have the Sprint Center, it would do fine.Salt Lake City: Not very possible, but their is always the EnergySolutions Arena.Houston: Toyota Center, enough said.Oakland/San Fransisco: Oracle Arena could support it. Also, a great rivalry for the SharksMilwaukee: Bradley Center could probably do.Seattle: KeyArena, but kind of close to Vancouver.Baltimore: Need an arena.Cleveland: The Q would be absolutely perfect.Cincinnatti: US Bank Arena may do for a little while.Could Montreal support another franchise? Maybe? It would be rather cool to have the Maroons returned. I know its not likely though.

NHL Teams I would like to see relocate?
I see this one from the illiterate 17 year olds all the time in here too.Let's look at Posada - a fine catcher. Not the best defensive or offensive catcher, but definitely a good player. Hall of Famer? Not in this universe. Offensively, he hit 100 RBIs once in his career and this is on a team with big bombers. He hit 30 home runs once which is great but if we're talking about a HOFer, you'd need something more. His career average is .275 which is nice and he hit over .300 once in his career which is definitely a Hall of Good player. He never won a Gold glove. He made 6 all star games and never won an MVP. He's the perfect example of someone benefiting from playing in NY because again, if he put up those stats in Kansas City, most people would have forgotten about him. In baseball reference, he's comparible to Benito Santiago, Bill Freehan, Lance Parrish and Javy Lopez, none of who will ever be in the Hall and Bill Freehan is the greatest catcher to never make the hall. He's also comparable to Bill Dickey in some things but Dickey is a .313 career hitter who was in 12 all star games. In all those post seasons he participated in because he was on great teams, he hit .241 in 470 PA, which is awful, especially when it's the post season and we're talking about a guy some people here claim should be in the Hall of Fame.Keep in mind it's very hard to get into the Hall and for those of you who use the ridiculous "He's a Yankee" excuse, talk to Don mattingly (and Thuman Munson for that matter). He's a Yankee is not a reason to get in the Hall of Fame. What say you?Joe - Someone asked earlier today what Yankees will be in the Hall a number of illiterate buffoons claimed Pettite and Posada. Arod will not be in the Hall either. No juicer will ever make it. Ever.

Why in the world would you think Jorge Posada is a future HOFer?
I have 5 possible running backs for week 6 but only 3 openings I really need the win this week and I'm going up against a team of stars. Please tell me who to put in.1. Michael Bush Oakland Raiders he is starting but Darren McFadden might suit up as well and they might share the carries. Versing the 49'rs2. Ahmad Bradshaw New York Giants. Versing Detroit Lions3. Peyton Hillis Cleveland Browns. Versing Pittsburgh Steelers4. Jamaal Charles Kansas City Chiefs. Versing Houston Texans5. Ray Rice Baltimore Ravens. Versing New England PatriotsPlease give me an informative answer to why put them in for example The Lions Defense is awesome so Theres no way (insert here) is going to break their line for some good fantasy points. This is an easy 10 points and a ill rate your answer 5 stars.Actually I just realized i have 6 running backs.6. Maurice-Jones-Drew. Jacksonville Jaguars. Versing Tennessee Titans

Fantasy Football Week 6?
Your predictions?New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills: As a team that acquired most star players during the off-season, they aren't really producing as much as I expected. Cromartie seems to be doing a great job in the D, enough to beat Bills I think. Cincinatti Bengals @ Cleveland Browns: Hands down Bengals. Don't think Browns can do much with a powerful Offense.Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Should be a good match up in this one, Steelers offense isn't as explosive as it's defense, but I can see Ravens sneaking in from behind to take this one. 50/50 for me.Denver Broncos @ Tennessee Titans: Not sure what to say in this one xD Titans don't really know what weapons they have, referring to the Pittsburgh game, taking out Vince Young for Collins? We'll see what Dawkins does to stop their offense. I say Broncos.Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers: Giving it to Packers only because of a close one last week against the Bears. They got too confident when they were ahead and allowed for a loss. Hopefully they can keep their cool throughout the entire game.San Francisco 49ers@ Atlanta Falcons: I'm more inclined to go with the Falcons, not sure by how much but if they allow the Forty-Niners even a small chance to score they'll take advantage of it. Game for Falcons.Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints: Playing at the Superdome will be a challenge for the 0-3 Panthers and second round pick Quarterback Jimmy Clausen is expected to start against the Saints. I'm still going with the Saints, World Champs should be able to win this without a sweat.Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams: Definetely going with Seattle on this one, Pete Carroll is really coming along with a good offense, enough to defeat the AFC West's Chargers last week. The Rams will be ready but not enough against sneaky Carroll.Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars: Colts hands down. Need I say more?Houston Texans @ Oakland Raiders: Texans, a little questionable after last week against Dallas, but not so much as counting them as a loss against the 1-2 Raiders. Going with Texans.Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles: An NFC Beast shoot out, the Eagles have dominated the NFC East, but Redskins's Mike Shanahan won't go down easily. This one's a big 50/50, it's anyone's game.Arizona Cardinals @ San Diego Chargers: I like the Chargers, but they've been very disappointing with their traditional bad starts, can they come back like they always do for Playoffs? I'm thinking yes.Chicago Bears @ New York Giants: If Cutler can keep a good, focused head throughout the game, then we'll be seeing at least a 14 point difference win against the Giants. Eli Manning can step up, but it's unlikely IMO. Game to Bears.New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins: Monday Night Football should be another good game. This one has another 50/50 with me, Dolphins have a chance if they weren't so predictable, Tony Sparano needs to mix it up, not just run, run, pass. pass, pass, run. They were close last week with the Jets, now they have ONE loss, I think they can beat the Patriots, especially at home, but I'm still going 50/50Of course Dallas, Kansas City, Minnesota, and Tampa Bay have their bye-weeks this week. Any predictions for the other team wins/losses?
