Could you help with a fairytale?

We were never dating, and I understand that.But even as a friend, this guy hurt me.I loved him and wanted to be with him so badly, but I have a feeling he led me on.He picked up on my signals and flirted back, but to my disappointment, I found out he was a ladies' man.He asked me to a concert, but then took back the ticket to take another girl.He kicked me aside to chase a married woman, and flirted with her IN FRONT OF ME and made sure I was watching.He promised to invite me to another concert, but never did.He promised to help me fix my car, but never did.He even looked at me before he would flirt with a group of girls, making sure I was watching.I deleted him from my life and slowly got over him.He tried contacting me, but I ignored him.I deleted him from Facebook, and he noticed.Even when he says hi in public, I turn away and pretend I don't hear him.I don't acknowledge him when we're in the same room.Well, my friend Tim and I are directing a play in college together.There are three other plays being directed as well.However, the guy I used to love AUDITIONED FOR MY PLAY ONLY when he could have auditioned for all four of them.I didn't cast him because he's a terrible, unreliable actor, and a mean friend.My friend Tim wanted to cast him, and I started to cry because I remembered all the pain of my broken heart.I told Tim everything that happened.He said that he understands, gave me a hug, comforted me, and that he was there if I ever needed to talk.But lately, when I ask him questions about the show, he seems distant and kind of impatient.I'm afraid if he's mad at me.Tim and Arthur (The guy I loved) are pretty good friends.Did I do something wrong? I know I was never in a relationship with Arthur, but he really hurt me, even as a friend.Who treats their friends like that? Is Tim mad at me about something?

Promising New CBT for PTSD - how / where to launch it ?
Just a brief explanation.I spent 5 years in the Active Army in Germany and my unit was deployed to Desert Storm.I was not deployed because of injuries that I received while working in the motor pool months before we ever knew we being deployed.I eventually was medically discharged.(not by choice).My service officer at the DAV is saying that I need to apply for PTSD.First of all isn't this only for military members that actually had boots on the ground? I told him that I don't need to apply because I am stable except for my true service connected disabilities that I have and I am being compensated for those issues.I felt like I would be taken advantage of the system and he assured me that I am entitled.Confused???

need advice having issues with ptsd?
My wife and I went through a traumatic experience about a 6 weeks ago.Something so simple and stupid but what happened was our security system went off at 1am.We were jolted out of bed as you can imagine from the sound and then the realization of a major threat in our home took over.We were looked in our bedroom for over 3 hours not knowing the situation or what danger we were in.It turned out to be a false alarm.We had a hard time sleeping at night afterwards for about 5-6 days and as time went by we became more comfortable again.Not 100% but sleeping much better and feeling more comfortable again.The problem I am having is about 2 weeks after the event I am now finding myself getting upset day after day thinking about our future and the thought that someday one of us will die leaving the other behind to be alone.We love each other so much and have the greatest relationship 2 people can have but all I dwell on is that someday it will end and I will be w/o here or she will be w/o me.We have no kids (we tried) and I think that makes things worse.I can't stand the thought of her being alone if something happened to me or vice versa.I dwell on this day by day.Each time with tears in my eyes.I haven't cried in 20 years now over the last 4 weeks I think I've had tears well up in my eyes at least once a day! I always worried about her and had passing thoughts about this before the event but now something was triggered and now my thoughts are often are so upsetting and very tough to deal with.We we are together I feel pretty good but when we are apart (usually at our workplace) I can't stop thinking about this.Any thoughts, advice or help will be appreciated.Thank you.


Do I have PTSD or BPD or something else?
My co-workers wife came in and introduced herself.We all finished out greetings.We went back to work on an overdue project.She brought a book along to pass the time until he was ready for lunch.After about 5 min, his wife looked straight at me sand said “My grandchild was x pounds and y ounces”.I have heard that sort of thing before, but only on TV.I am not sure what the significance is.I was polite, I guess.I smiled and said, “Oh, I assume from the enthusiasm in your voice that that is a good weight, and congratulations are in order”.She looked disappointed.I am 45 and educated.Most of my friends have children, and know that I am not into babies so they never bring that up.Over the years, I have dated dozens of women who have children.They never mention such things to me.Most have kids that are old enough to know that we have “grown up stuff to do in the bedroom and we brought you some DVD to watch”.I am a PTSD veteran who could not find the patience for children if my life depended on it.That is why I had the “snip” many years ago, and have no children.Thanks for the polite answers so far.They do not teach this sort of thing in collage.At least not to those of us who are IT professionals.

I am currently taking my prerequisites for the nursing program as well as a transferable course.I plan on transferring to a CSU and persue my Bachelors in Health Sciences in a state college.After i get my BA in Health Sciences, i was thinking of going for the ADN program and BSN later.If not a BSN, I am happy with a ADN.If i get a bachelor's in Health Science will that help me get priority or have a higher chance of getting into the ADN/ASN program? I know that you can do the Psych.Tech/LVN to ADN/BSN route, but even then i would have to wait to get into a Pysch.Tech/LVN program because some are lottery and some are not.I also know we have to meet the required classes weather it is a ADN or a BSN program.But which one will help me to have more priority? Does it matter? What is the Difference? Apply to an LVN program while im working towards my BA in Health Science? Or forget about the LVN program and persue my BA in Health Science then do a ADN? Or just go for an LVN program and do a BSN program? I spoke to so many counselors but i cant seem to find the right answers.I try to get a hold of the nursing counselor or advisors but they are either away or teaching their class.So i an asking someone who has knowledge here.I trust the LVN programs that are on from community colleges but not the "private colleges" that are "accredited" or should i say a vocational school that offers the nursing programs such as western career or kaplan college.I generally feel more comfortable doing the BA in Health Science then getting into a ADN program route but I am having doubts.I am becoming desperate and am considering the vocational schools however the cost is about 25,000-40,000 for a lvn.i feel ike thats not even worth it.How sure will i know i will be well equipped to take the nclex through those schools? I mean are those school even legit to begin with? i have know a few people that got a ba in health sciences and have an adn through a community college and got a job within less than a year after passing the nclex.some persuing their lvn's or are an lvn through a vocational school but took very long to pass their nclex.I just want to find a good route that is best for me.i like the BA in Health Science to ADN but am Having doubts that i will get in.I also plan onto applying to a lot of community and State colleges if i dont get into one.Please help, suggestions, advice, comfort, constructive criticism? i went to a university for a year and passed all of my first semester classes but failed all of my second semester due to stress from work, being lazy and just plain overwhelmed with everything.I left there and wasn't able to get my transcript because i owe money but I was able to get into a community college by lying and saying that i never went to college.They found out but my only consequence is not being able to get financial aid, but thats okay because I get grants.I'm going to get my ASN when I leave the community college, but will I be able to go to another univeristy to obtain my BSN without any consequences? where to start.I think these negative thoughts started this weekend: My boss told me she would retire in 2 years.I had no reaction--cool I have 2 years.Now I was looking on line at career builder and I see failure with any job I would try.I'm scared to death!
