I am in an world where they are going from winxp to win7 we are running ad off of server 2003. We own a GPO set up to lock down users computers outside at our stores. Each store has their own IP range ex.. 10.10.X.1-9. Our corporate work has a IP range of 10.10.1.1-254. We own machine GPO and user GPO. The problem is that the gpo will not take aftereffect on the store computers without turning off the public firewall in Win7. I am not able to constitute any site changes... I can alone act on the GPO or the community machine itself... Is there any way to be able to own GPO activity to the store computers without turning off the public firewall? I too own noticed that until the public firewall is turned off that we are not able to ping or map to the store computers. Any clue on that?? Thanks guys... I got hired for this position and everything is all bassackwards to what I understand.
