What happens if a nuclear reactor fails an inspection?

WHat power does the IAEA have if the reactor fails the safety test?

The reactor is shut down, if there is danger, it is isolated, and then repaired.

If the Reactor itself was to fail a portion of a safety test, that would be a problem with the engineering side, not the operation side. So the engineers would fix the problem. The IAEA and each countries individual Nuclear Regulatory Commission will set the standards for the safety test.
