My daughter wants to move back to LA with my irresponsible ex wife?

I'm a father of 3, 2 girls and a boy.My oldest daughter is 15 years old and has made it her personal mission to get back to Los Angeles. She was born there but we moved to Michigan when she was 4, and starting at age 7 or 8 she began wanting to go back.We visit my parents who still live there every Christmas, so she's had plenty of time to get to know the city. She's also got a killer memory, and remember living there as a little girl.I thought it would go away, like most childhood phases, but she's well into her teens and it's only getting worse. My ex has been thinking about moving back, and of course my daughter wants to come along, but there's no way legally for her to do this after what we both signed.I refuse to allow it because my ex can barely support herself here in MI, let alone herself and a child in LA.My ex also totalled my SUV last year because she was drunk with my daughter in the car (no drinking problem, it was an isolated incident), and has been trying to "win her back" ever since. She has no control over her, lets her say and do whatever she wants. But my daughter is absolutely miserable here. She constantly complains of being cold, and her hands are ice cold literally all winter. She gets straight A's, and could get into UCLA or USC in a few years (she's a sophomore). But do I just let her suffer for 2.5 years? She says I'm being selfish, to keep her here when I know she hates it, but I can't let her running around in LA with her mother, who she ignores.Moving there wiht them isn't an option either, as I have a great job that I love here. And my other 2 children are happy here, I can't uproot the whole family just for my oldest.Tips please?

My 15 year old is obsessed with Los Angeles?

the ones I'm thinking about applying to are Brown(top choice), Duke, Northwestern, NYU, Fordham, UC berkeley, UCLA, UC santa cruz and UC santa barbara.I'm still a junior and I plan on graduating with an IB diploma.GPA(weighted/unweighted):4.2/3.65SAT/ACT:2050/31Extracurriculars:2 years of JV soccer, now apart of varsity soccervice president and co founder of breakdance clubclub secretary of key club for three yearsmember of NHS for three yearsbeen in leadership for two years, planning on threeI have played guitar for four yearsI don't really have much community service hours besides 150 hours from camp because most of my time is spent helping my parents out at their farm. Also during the summers when my parents relatives/friends come from thailand or laos to work, I spend my time teaching them english.what other colleges should I apply too? and what do i need to improve so that i could get accepted into these schools, specifically Brown.FYI I am also a california resident and the youngest child of asian immigrants.sorry weighted gpa is actually 4.1

would i be able to get into these colleges?

I live in Connecticut and searching for a great UC school for sports medicine. My goal is to become a personal or athletic trainer.Which UC school would you recommend? I just visited UCLA and love the campus.

What UC schools have sports medicine undergraduate degrees.I am really interested in UCLA?

I got rejected from UCLA (which makes me incredibly depressed) so I'm going to UCI instead......I read all of my friends' fb status updates about how they got into UCLA while I got rejected from it and it just makes me feel so stupid -- I feel like crying.Even though UCLA could only accept 5300 of its applicants out of the 61000 that applied, I feel like a complete idiot....Do you know if UC Irvine is still a good school? I am attending Wilson High in Long Beach, Ca.That's funny...I'm entering UCI as a Biological Sciences major too!! Lol

Is UC Irvine still a good school?

I really want to learn ballet, but im afraid to ask my Mum, i have been in softball for 3 years now, i have played on All-stars and all that crap.My Mum is so proud of me, i just want to do something else for a change.Im afraid to ask because i dont want to break her heart, She played for many years and wants me to get into UCLA from softball,(Thats a big accomplishment for my family) and as far as i know they dont have a Ballet department....Yea......Help? Also, i can throw 112 feet so i have a good arm according to many of past coaches (Im only 12 using friends account) And a Girl......Laters...

How can i ask for Ballet lessons without breaking my Mums Heart?

I am 15 and 5 ft 4 but hasn't started to really grow yet.I'll end up to be around 5'11 or 6ft or 6'1 at the most.I live in Australia and my plan is to go and play for a good uni or college in America like UCLA or Kentucky etc.i also get good grades and average an Ain the morning i wake up at and do some running and cross training, agility work, defensive footwork, and dribbling practice. After school around 5, i go to the courts and shoot around and work on lay ups and that for around 2 to 3 or even 4 hours, when i get back home i do push up and curl and calf raises and etc to help me get stronger.I have a really good basketball iq and play really good offensive basketball.I have great dribbling and can run a team.My shooting is pretty good but i still need to work on it more.My driving game is really good i can put up floaters or finish strong at the basket.I am really really fast.I can jump but i will never be able to out jump those super athletic doods. What are some advices on going to college and how to get into the nba and what are my chances.

what are my chances of getting in the NBA I'm turning 15 in October?

Soon after I turned in my application, my mother's dad passed away in early December.I was as distraught as my mother, and we had to go to England for the two week break during Christmas in order to attend the funeral.Would this be considered good enough for an appeal to UCLA? I don't know how I was rejected, as I perfectly matched the UCLA admitted freshman profile.

I got rejected from UCLA?
