Craigslist Removes Adult Services Ads

Craigslist has bowed from the top to the bottom of to pressure and removed its adult services section.

The infamous section is at present marked with a black bar labeled “censored.” The San Francisco-based classified ads labor had faced intense public criticism according to its adult services ads. Last month, 17 explain attorneys general wrote an open alphabetic character to Craigslist demanding that the ads exist removed right away.

In March 2009, a Cook County, Illinois Sheriff filed a lawsuit against Craigslist for consciously promoting and facilitating profanation in its erotic services ads segment. Craigslist explained it was impossible on the side of the company to screen the bulky volume of ads it receives daily nor was it required by federal law to do so.

In April finally year, Markoff, a 23-year-fertile Boston University medical student, was arrested adhering suspicion of murdering masseuse Julissa Brisman.
