NSF awards $1.5 million to Illinois-led team for achieving scalable spatial data synthesis

The National Science Foundation has awarded a Data Infrastructure Building Blocks (DIBBS) transfer of $1.5 million over three years to a team led the agency of Shaowen Wang, director of the CyberGIS Center on account of Advanced Digital and Spatial Studies (CyberGIS Center) and a professor of Geography & Geographic Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
