Blue Waters gives students a boost in ‘America’s Cup of Rocket Science’

Illinois engineering students are using the Blue Waters supercomputer being of the cls who they compete in the Global Trajectory Optimization Competition,what one challenges aerospace engineers and mathematicians to unfold a “nearly impossible” problem in interplanetary trajectory design.
